What accommodation do you offer?

Our apartments are located in the downtown area of Odessa which is considered to be the most beautiful and very safe. Apartments are equipped with all the necessary furniture and amenities, situated close to shops, banks, restaurants, and cafes. There are different types of apartments: Economy, Standard and Deluxe. Prices vary from $50 to $ 150 per day. The required deposit is one day rental fee. The balance is paid upon your arrival in cash in US dollars. Please include the exact dates of your visit. What data do you need to meet me at the airport?

To be able to pick you up at the airport we need your full flight details with the exact dates of your arrival and departure and a $50 deposit for the service.

What is a VIP service at the Airport?

There’s a separate VIP lounge at Odessa Airport which is believed to be more comfortable and speed up and facilitate the process of going through customs. Our experience, however, shows that it doesn’t justify its name and sometimes they hold you up even longer than in a normal lounge. So it’s up to you whether to use this service or not.

What if I don’t speak Russian or Ukrainian?

We can provide you with a qualified translator’s assistance. The fee is $7/per hour. Translator will accompany you everywhere you need and help with possible misunderstandings.

How do I arrange my lady to start learning English?

We can organize a private tutor or courses for your lady. There are several levels available (basic, intermediate and advanced). Upon the receipt of payment the lady will be able to start lessons at her earliest convenience. We practice individual approach so the tutor will first check what the lady already knows to be able to develop a personal training program for her. Our teacher uses modern teaching methods. Do I need a visa to Ukraine?

Passport and Visa are required to enter Ukraine for citizens of certain countries. Although we try to update this information regularly, we strongly recommend that you check with the Consular office for any updates or changes. No visa is required for citizens of the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Turkey, of the countries of the European Union, Liechtenstein, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Mongolia, Serbia, Lithuania and Montenegro, and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (except Turkmenistan), Iceland, San Marino, Norway, Monaco, Vatican, Andorra if your visit is less than 90 days. For longer trips to Ukraine visas are required. Citizens of the countries like Australia, New Zealand etc require a Letter of Invitation and on its grounds they should apply for visa.

What are the tips for going through Ukraine Customs?

Travelers must declare all cash and jewelry, regardless of value, upon entering Ukraine. Under customs regulations, travelers may bring up to 15,000 U.S. dollars cash into Ukraine or 50,000 dollars in traveler's checks, without special permission. When leaving the country, visitors are only allowed to take out a maximum of 3,000 U.S. dollars. There are strict customs regulations and procedures regarding the export of antiquities and items of historical interest. "Historical interest" may mean any item produced before 1950. Bringing gifts: the total cost of gifts (jewellery, plush toys, perfumes, souvenirs) should not exceed 200€. If the jewellery, for example, is over 200€, you’ll have to pay customs duty which makes 44% of its cost. You are allowed to bring food (f.eg. chocolate) for up to 50€, spirits- 1 liter, wine- 2 liters, cigarettes- 1 box.

How should a pay for various services in Odessa?

Our currency is the hryvnia (UAH). Ukraine is a cash economy. Travelers' checks and credit cards are gaining wider acceptance. Expect credit card use to be limited to better hotels, upscale restaurants, international airlines and the rapidly growing, but still select number of up-market stores. Changing Ukrainian currency or other currencies is legal only at banks, currency exchange desks at hotels, and licensed exchange booths. There are many banks and licensed currency exchange booths located in Odessa. ATMs are available throughout Odessa as well. Most ATMs disperse cash only in the local currency hryvnya. The difficulties of a currency shortage can be avoided by coming to Ukraine with a sufficient supply of hard currency to cover necessary obligations (such as paying the balance for the accommodation upon your arrival). Funds may be transferred by wire; advances may be drawn on credit cards and travelers checks may be cashed at many locations. PLEASE NOTE: Preparing for your trip, bring currency that is new, un-marked and not torn. Otherwise, you may have difficulty exchanging it.

Is it hard to find Internet access in Odessa?

What if I cancel my trip and I already made reservations?

Normally the fee for the 1st day apartment is not refunded while the payment for the other services like pick up service or VIP service remains on your account with our agency and you can use it for other services (for instance, order a gift or for your next trip to Odessa). But please make sure you inform us of the cancellation at least 2 days before the intended visit.

What happens if I’m late for one of the connecting flight on my way to Odessa?
